Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center
offers a therapeutic alternative to
24-hour inpatient hospitalization
for patients 18 years and older who are in need of intensive psychiatric treatment. This program
offers a daily schedule of therapeutic and educational activities. Program hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Patient Profile
Patients 18 years and older who may require partial hospitalization and/or continued treatment to facilitate recovery after inpatient hospitalization.
Patients who do not qualify for partial hospitalization include those with acute violent and suicidal tendencies or those without the ability to participate in an active partial hospital program.
Treatment Program
Patients should have a living situation that adequately supports them outside the program.
The program includes the following:
- Group Therapy
- Recreational/Experiential therapy
- Adult Education/Life Skills
- Leisure Activities
- Family group meetings twice a month
The initial assessment evaluates the adult's social skills, learning skills, and intellectual/emotional abilities.
